October 28, 2013 I am pleased to write a letter of recommendation for Martin Jacobs, an exceptional graduate student in the business intelligence concentration in our MSIT program. I have known Martin for approximately two years. I came to know him well, over time, while he was a student in my decision support systems course, my knowledge management course, and my data mining and data warehousing course, respectively. To maintain a concentration within the Master of Science in Information Technology, students fulfill their course requirements by taking a rigorous course load. Students are required to complete a combination of specific classes with a heavy emphasis on analytical and critical thinking, advanced independent research and, attending five graduate seminars per term. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or better in all courses in order to remain in a concentration program.
